Heavenly Wisteria | 30x20"

This is the Japanese wisteria in my garden. I’m fond of the way the light rakes across the lush blossoms. From below, the long beautiful blossoms seem to be descending from above like some sort of heavenly things.
 
This original watercolor was done on paper stretched over a wrapped canvas. The painting continues around the four sides and is sealed with cold wax medium. No frame or glass is needed.
