Under the Arms of Cherry Trees | 18x24"

The 90 year old cherry trees at the University of Washington in Seattle are a remarkable sight. The long branches seem like protective arms reaching out over the visitors who come to admire the trees in bloom. The twisting ancient branches contrast wonderfully with the ethereal blossoms, age and youth intermingling. On this overcast day, the blossoms seemed to create their own glow.
"Under the Arms of Cherry Trees" is part of a series of watercolors featuring the UW cherry blossoms. This original watercolor is framed under glass, mounted in a white mat and surrounded by an elegant weathered-wood frame. The outside of the frame measures 27" x 33".
